Daily Chapter---Psalm 71 Reflection Question
This chapter has no title. Some scholars believe that it is possible that the author regarded Psalm 70 as the preface to Psalm 71. If so, it may have been written by David during his old age v9+18
- 1. How did God save the author? At what stages in his life did God redeem and support him? Is it the same essence as the redemption you and I received from Christ?
- 2. How many times was God’s “righteousness” mentioned in this chapter? Which word is it connected to in v2+15? What does it mean? Is this different from our general belief that salvation comes from God’s kindness?
- 3. What unshirkable responsibility do the blessed bear towards future generations? v18
- 4. How does the author respond to God’s work in him? v6-8, v22-24
