Daily Chapter---Psalm 76 Reflection Question
- 1): Among the three Psalms, 74, 75 and 77, that lament the background of Jerusalem’s great suffering, Psalm 76 is inserted. What is its background? The psalmist said that the people of Judah and Israel know the name of God in this context. What is the significance? Do we have a similar understanding of God?
- 2): What is the purpose of the poet using Salem instead of Jerusalem in verse 2? In verses 3 to 10, who is God dealing with? What are their characteristics? Is this also true for those who are hostile to God today? Do we believe that God will judge them in this way?
- 3): As people of God, what attitude should they have towards God? Do we also have this attitude?
